A representation was made by the petitioner on 21.08.2015 to the respondent no.1 stating that 19 cents of land situated in Veppampoondi Village, Gangavallli Taluk, Salem District has been wrongly classified as Natham and hence, the same will have be re-classified as patta land. Seeking early disposal of the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is suffice if the respondent no.1 is directed to dispose of the pending representation.

3.Taking into consideration the above submission, a direction is issued to the respondent no.1 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
