O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to forbear the respondent from taking away any disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner on the basis of the letter No.RC.17/2015/LB/MU dated 14.05.2018 from the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Madurai and consequently direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to retire from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.05.2018.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous and therefore he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition challenging the suspension of the petitioner. He had also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also in view of the endorsement made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh Writ Petition, as prayed for. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
