This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to extend a period of three weeks from 25.04.2023 for depositing an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kancheepuram in Crl.R.C.No.25 of 2018.

2. It is seen from the records that while disposing the petition in Crl.R.C.No.25 of 2018, this Court by an order dated 28.03.2023, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- before the trial Court on or before 25.04.2023.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to financial crises, he was unable to deposit the above said amount He would further submit that the petitioner is now ready and willing to deposit Rs.2,50,000/- by way of Demand Draft before the trial Court and hence, sought for further extension of time.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, further time to deposit the said amount is extended on or before 22.05.2023.
