ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.2 of 2015 and to file final report within the time fixed by this Court in accordance with law.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife M.S.Vedanayagi lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against the petitioner and three others on 23.1.2015 and on the basis of the said complaint, a case was registered in Crime No.2 of 2015 for the offence under Section 498 (A) I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Though the said complaint was registered on 23.1.2015, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Because of the pendency of complaint, being a Soft Ware Engineer, the petitioner is not able to go abroad for his employment. Hence, the petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.2 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. 14.12.2015 Index:Yes/No sbi
