Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's Application dated 11.09.2013 (dealt with in R.No.49436/A3/2013) for the grant of Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permit forthwith.

3. The petitioner has applied for issue of contract carriage omni bus permit before the respondent, which was received by the respondent on 11.09.2013. It is the contention of the petitioner that though the application was received and the respondent assigned R.No.49436/A3/2013, the same was not considered and orders passed either granting the permit or rejecting the same. It is his further contention that the petitioner has also sent repeated reminders, but, all gone in vain. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for the grant of contract carriage https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
