Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, regarding the realignment of the path of the coal conveyor corridor and proposed storm-water drain, proposed to be constructed from Panaiyur Port to the proposed Cheyur Power Plant.

Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner, claiming to be one of the parties who have jointly given the representation on 22.06.2017, seeking for realignment of the path of the coal conveyor corridor and proposed storm water drain, has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition for the disposal of the said representation.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. It appears that the petitioner and others through the said representation have sought for considering and realignment of path of the coal conveyor corridor and storm water drain. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far.
5. This Court, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner and others, as it is purely for the respondents, more particularly, the second respondent to consider and decide on its own merits and in accordance with law. Therefore, without expressing any view on the claim of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
