The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 03.05.2015 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. The petitioner submitted that he has preferred a complaint before the respondent police on 03.05.2015 against one Parameshwari, Rajendiran, Govindan, Panjalai and Lakshmi for the offences under sections 147,148,294(b),323,506(ii) of I.P.C. But, till date, the respondent police has not registered any case on his complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the enquiry is pending with the respondent police.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 03.05.2015 in C.S.R.No.254 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
