Respondents This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to hold proper enquiry, examine the proceedings of respondent No.2 committee dated 27.03.2014 and 10.06.2014 relating to the blood relatives of the petitioner namely, S. Kaviarasan and C.Govindaraj and decide the community status of the petitioner's children viz., R. Dhatchana and R. Ragu within a reasonable time.

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to hold proper enquiry, examine the proceedings of the second respondent-committee dated 27.03.2014 and 10.06.2014 relating to the petitioner's blood relatives, viz., S. Kaviarasan and C.Govindaraj and decide the community status of the petitioner's children, viz., R. Dhatchana and R. Ragu, within a reasonable time.

The petitioner, claiming to be belonging to Kurumans (ST) community, made an application on 08.12.2010 to the first respondent seeking issuance of such community certificate to his children, viz., R. Dhatchana and R.Ragu. He sent a reminder on 13th September 2013 and another reminder on 10th November, 2014 enclosing copies of the proceedings of the second respondentcommittee declaring that his paternal uncle's son S. Kaviarasan and his wife's brother C. Govindaraj, belong to Kurumans (ST) community. Since no orders have been passed on his application, which was followed by two reminders, the petitioner has come up with the instant writ petition seeking the aforestated relief. 4.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents fairly submits the petitioner's application will be considered and necessary orders will be passed thereon, in accordance with law and on its own merits, in the light of the order dated 10 February 2016 rendered by this Bench in N.Madhavan Vs. The Assistant Collector, Tirupattur Vellore District and another1, within a period of four weeks.

In view of the aforestated submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, it is ordered accordingly. 6.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
