WP.No.15645/2021 [Video Conferencing] S.S.SUNDAR, J., Today, the above writ petition is posted under the caption ''For Being Mentioned'' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the prayer in the writ petition is not properly reflected in the operative portion of the order. It is also submitted that the operative portion of the order may be in accordance with the prayer in the writ petition.

3.Since the writ petition is allowed as prayed for, the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is accepted and the following paragraph is substituted in the place of paragraph No.5 of the order dated 29.07.2021.

''5.This Court is inclined to dispose of these writ petition with the following direction: The respondents / Transport Corporation is directed to pay interest @ 4% per annum for the delayed payment of Surrender Leave, Commutation of Pension and Gratuity. The amount calculated towards interest should be paid in six monthly instalments commencing from 01.09.2021. In case of any further delay in paying instalments within the time stipulated by this order, the interest payable will be @ 6% for the delayed payment. If there is any dispute with regard to quantum, the parties are at liberty to workout their remedy independently and if there is a delay in payment beyond one year, then the petitioner is liberty to approach this Court for higher rate of interest.''

4.The Registry is directed to re-issue the order copy forthwith on payment of necessary charges by the parties.
