This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent No.4 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen and he is in possession of certain properties which is sought to be disturbed by third parties. The petitioner therefore had sent a representation to the respondent police on 11.04.2023. However, no action had been taken by the respondent in the said representation.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner and take such action in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2023 addressed to the first respondent and take action in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. No costs.
