ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that by the Government Order in G.O.(2D).No.179, Home (Police.2) Department, dated 24.05.2022, the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, has considered the prayer sought for by the petitioner and a copy of the said Government Order has been produced before this Court.

2. Recording the aforesaid said statement made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek remedy before the appropriate forum, if he aggrieved by the said order. No costs.
