ORDER

The petitioners have filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to take cognizance of their application dated 17.02.2017 and to carry out the survey in their lands and determine the boundaries in respect of Survey Nos. 199/5 and 199/7, situated at Gudiyattam Town and Taluk, Vellore District.

2. Mr.D.Rajagopal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in spite of the petitioners' application dated 17.02.2017, to demarcate their lands, the 2nd respondent has not surveyed the lands so far. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioners are undertaking to pay the necessary charges for measuring and demarcating the lands.

3. Mr.Era.Premnath, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to measure and demarcate the petitioners' lands, in accordance with law, on payment of necessary charges.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the 2nd respondent to measure and demarcate the lands in Survey Nos. 199/5 and 199/7, in accordance with law, on payment of necessary charges, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
