ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was arrested by the respondent police in Crime No.908 of 2015 under Sections 294(b), 332, 353 and 506(ii) I.P.C. Thereafter, he moved bail application before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Poonamallee and he was released on bail. In spite of that, the respondent is frequently calling the petitioner and harassing him under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that for the purpose of enquiry, the petitioner was called by the respondent police and absolutely, there is no harassment and in order to avoid enquiry, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

4. Irrespective of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(i) The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

(ii) The respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
