J U D G M E N T

This Criminal Appeal has been filed against the order dated 08.05.2019 passed in Crl.M.P.No.2215 of 2019 by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for Cases Under SC/ST Act) Tiruvallur.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 28.07.2021, this Court directed the first respondent to verify as to whether the appellant is still in custody or not, since the matter is pending from the year 2019.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the Designated Court have already granted bail to the petitioner on 19.07.2019.

4. In the light of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as infructuous.
