ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem, to expedite the case in S.C.No.85 of 2015 pending on his file and complete the same within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that on 6.11.2014 at about 8.45 p.m., her husband was murdered by the accused persons in S.C.No.85 of 2014. The said sessions case is pending on the file of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem. Since the accused persons are dragging on the trial of the case, she has filed the present petition seeking a direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem to expedite the case in S.C.No.85 of 2015.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in this case, charges were already framed and it has been posted on 6.1.2016 for examination of the witnesses. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem to expedite the trial of the case in S.C.No.85 of 2015 pending on his file and complete the same within a period of one month from the date of commencement of trial viz., within one month from 6.1.2016.
