[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner viz., R.Kamalanathan @ Swamy Kamalananda, who is a life convict (CT.No.4220) presently lodged in the Central Prison, Puzhal, gave a representation dated 13.03.2022 seeking 'A' class facility in the prison, in which no order has been passed and hence, the instant writ petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

2. Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said representation of the petitioner has been forwarded to the District Collector/District Magistrate, Tiruchirapalli for initial recommendation and orders are awaited. In support of this contention, he produced a communication dated 14.07.2022 from the Superintendent, Central Prison-I, Puzhal addressed to the Office of the Public Prosecutor. A reading of the same shows that the Superintendent, Central Prison-I, Puzhal 2/4

has sent a communication in No.4220/jF1/2022 dated 17.03.2022 to the District Collector, Tiruchirapalli for initial recommendation.

3. In view of the above, we direct the District Collector, Tiruchirapalli to dispose of the representation of the petitioner that has been forwarded by the Superintendent, Central Prison-I, Puzhal vide No.4220/jF1/2022 dated 17.03.2022 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
