By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner would state that she joined as Elementary School Teacher in Tamil Nadu Government Education service on 26.05.1962 and was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher and was working in Peerkkankaranai Panchayath School till 08.02.1964 and thereafter transferred to Government Municipal School at Irumbuliyur and voluntarily retired from service on 21.07.1973. The petitioner after her voluntary retirement has approached the respondents praying for sanction of pension for the period from 21.07.1973 to till date and repeatedly corresponding with them and the last of such representation was submitted on 20.08.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.Heard the submissions of Ms.E.Angayarkanni, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 06.07.2015 and 20.08.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
