Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass order on the petitioner's Appeal/Representation dated 23.05.2022, within a time limit to be stipulated by this court.

ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass order on the petitioner's Appeal/Representation dated 23.05.2022, within a time limit to be stipulated by this court.

3. The petitioner is working as Panchayat Secretary at Siruganpur Panchayat, Alatthur Union, Perambalur District. He met with an accident on 23.11.2020 and during that accident he lost his right leg and it was amputated. Therefore, he was transferred from Aadhanur Panchayat to Siruganpur Panchayat, now he is working. The second respondent vide order dated 16.05.2022, transferred the petitioner to Kottarai Panchayat, stating as administrative grounds. To cancel the above transfer order, the petitioner made an Appeal before the first

respondent on 23.05.2022 and also made a representation to the second respondent on 31.05.2022. But, it was not considered. Hence this writ petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the first respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the authorities concerned and appropriate orders will be passed on its own merits, in accordance with law.

5. Inview of the above submission and considering the limited scope of prayer and to meet the ends of justice, without expressing any opinion on merits, it is ordered as follows.

i) The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.05.2022 and to pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this court.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
