ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of I.P.C, in Crime.No.698 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/A4 along with other accused broke open the house of the defacto complainant and stolen 7 soverigns of gold and cash worth Rs.1,30,000/-. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner along with other accused broke open the house of the defacto complainant and stolen 7 soverigns of gold and cash worth Rs.1,30,000/- He would further submit that the stolen gold and cash has not yet recovered and the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary to this case. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary to this case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
