O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to grant a legal heir certificate to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2024.

2. Heard Mr.D.Babu Varadharajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate for the sole respondent.

3. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent would submit that now, applications for issuance of Legal heir Certificates have to be made through online.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to make a fresh online application.

5. In view of the above submissions, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh online application immediately. On receipt of such online application, the same shall be processed and orders shall be issued to the petitioner within a period of four weeks therefrom. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
