ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent herein to file final report in Crime No.576 of 2015 pending on his file within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. In the petition, it is averred that on 17.10.2015, the petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Gothandaraman with the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.576 of 2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 506(i), 386 and 387 I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 17.10.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.576 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
