The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 27.12.2013, regarding the appointment as Salesman in Menallur Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society. At the out set, the relief sought for in this writ petition seeking appointment in a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Co-operative Society, which has not a state within a meaning under Article 12 of the Constitution of India. The legal principles laid down in this regard was settled by the larger Bench of this Court, in the case of K.Marappan and Ors. Vs. the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies reported in 2006(4) CTC 689. Accordingly, no further adjudication is required to be undertaken on the merits raised in this writ petition.

2. Thus, the writ petition stands dismissed as not maintainable. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
