The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2014, in respect of fixation of seniority. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was appointed as Junior Draughting Officer and he has completed the probation period satisfactorily. The next avenue of promotion is to the post of Assistant Engineer and the writ petitioner claims that his name ought to have been considered for promotion to the higher category. However, the respondent has not considered the case of the writ petitioner and in this regard, the writ petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent on 19.02.2014 and the same is yet to be considered.

3.Thus, without going into the merits and demerits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 19.02.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
