O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the representation dated 11.5.2019 given by the petitioner, pending on their file in accordance with law. 2.
The case of the petitioner is that he is a Contractor. While so, as per the Proceedings of the District Collector in Na.Ka.No.1409/2018 Aa2 dated 15.6.2018, order was passed
sanctioning construction of Cement Concrete Pavement with drain from Kadaimedai Ramasami's house to Ramalngam house at Keeranatham Panchayat. The petitioner has got the said contract and accordingly, he finished the work. Thereafter, the Assistant Engineer has inspected the same and gave a Completion Report dated 22.03.2019. Further, the 3rd respondent on the basis of the Completion Report approved a sum of Rs.12,32,787/- for that work. Though the said report was received by the respondents 1 and 2, the amount of Rs.12,32,787/- has not been released so far. After making several requests in person for releasing the bill amount, the petitioner has given a representation dated 11.5.2019 to the respondents 1 and 2. Since there is no response for the same, the petitioner is before this Court with this Writ Petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the limited prayer made in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
