Earlier, the petitioner herein had filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.3339 of 2020 before this Court seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent namely the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Nallipalayam, Tiruchengode Road, Namakkal District, to take further action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 09.09.2019 and this Court by order dated 17.02.2020 had given a positive direction.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that despite the order of this Court dated 17.02.2020 nothing has happened. Hence, he has sought direction of this Court to direct the 1st respondent herein to pass necessary orders granting permission to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to register the case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 09.09.2019.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in this case permission has been obtained and preliminary enquiry has been ordered and commenced in P.E.No.61 of 2020 in reference POC/NKL dated 29.09.2020.

4. In view of preliminary enquiry having commenced, nothing survives for adjudication. With the above observation, petition is disposed of.
