Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2017 so as to prevent animal sacrifice in the premises of Sri Ellai Kaliamman Temple, Koovagam Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Villupuram District.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
24.06.2017, the respondents 1 & 2 have not passed any order so far.
4.Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the respondents 1 & 2 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
