The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 07.06.2015 in C.S.R.No.512 of 2015 dated 10.10.2015 in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint against one Thiyagu @ Johnson with regard to a money dispute. The petitioner submitted that one Thiyagu @ Johnson joined with him as a Driver and the said Thiyagu @ Johnson induced the petitioner that his brother is influential person and he can help the petitioner for purchasing a Zylo car if he is willing to pay Rs.4,25,000/- to the said Arokiya Thomas and Udayakumar. As per promise and inducement of the Udayakumar and Arokiya Thomas the petitioner has transferred a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- from his wife Thamilarasi Account to the said Thomas@Arokiya Thomas on 09.12.2014. But, all the above persons after receiving the amount cheated the petitioner herein. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint against the said Thiyagu @ Johnson. Till date, no action was taken out on the said complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the enquiry is pending with the respondent police. On receipt of the complaint of the petitioner in C.S.R.No.512 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 07.06.2015 given by the petitioner in C.S.R.No.512 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible.
