Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the application for admission into Engineering course applied on-line by Minor Prithiv and to allot random number to the petitioner for participating in the Engineering admission counselling and enabling the petitioner to participate in the Engineering admission counselling.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for the following relief: To issue a writ of mandamus, directing the second and third respondents to consider the application for admission into Engineering course applied on-line by Minor Prithiv and to allot random number to the petitioner for participating in the Engineering admission counselling and enabling the petitioner to participate in the Engineering admission counselling.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is not called upon to take part in the counselling conducted by the respondent so far.

3. Learned standing counsel appearing for the second and third respondents, based on instructions, submitted that the third respondent has fixed 11.08.2017 as the date for considering the case of the persons like the petitioner and therefore, on that day, the petitioner's claim will be considered.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the said statement may be recorded and the writ petition may be closed.

5. Accordingly, by recording the above statement made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the second and third respondents, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
