2. Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader submits that after the impugned order was passed by the learned Single Judge, auction was conducted thrice. Now, a policy decision is taken not to conduct auction.

3. The prayer in the writ petition was only to forbear the fourth respondent from auctioning the area of Kovai Main road. The purpose of the appeal would not now subsist.

4. Be that as it may; none appears for the appellant. The appeal as such, is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. CMP No.12386 of 2023 is closed.
