The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 64 days in filing the Criminal Appeal, as against the judgment dated 25.08.2025 passed in Spl.S.C.No.11 of 2019 by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chengalpattu.

Ms.J.R.Archana, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice for the respondent and she has no objection for this petition being allowed.

3. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this condone delay petition, the delay of 64 days is condoned and this petition stands ordered.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the same in regular course.
