Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent, to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.04.2025 bearing no. 2025/ 0123/ 32/ 004216 and to depute a competent surveyor to measure and fix the four boundaries and submit the detailed report for surveying the land in the property comprised in survey No.267/4 measuring a total extent of 26.50 hectares situated at Kupandampalayam village, Avanashi Taluk, Tiruppur district. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to act upon the on-line application submitted by the petitioner on 03.04.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. 2.

Heard Mr.M.Elumalai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3. 3.

The petitioner is relying upon the sale deed dated 30.12.2024. The petitioner seeks sub-division of the subject property and for transfer of patta in

the name of the petitioner and hence, submitted an application on 10.03.2025. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries and hence, submitted an application on 03.04.2025. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the on-application submitted by the petitioner on 03.04.2024 and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title document. This process shall be completed by the 2 nd respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claimants, the survey shall be conducted in their presence. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
