This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 04.05.2016 pending on the file of the respondent police.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on the complaint given by one Jayamatha, a case in Cr.No.47 of 2011 has already been registered on 17.06.2011 for an offence u/s 420 IPC and that this petitioner being a Firm, he will be taken as a witness for the prosecution. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor also produced the 161(3) Cr.P.C. statement of the petitioner. He further submitted that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram is conducting investigation in Cr.No.47 of 2011. Under such circumstances, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram is directed to complete the investigation in Cr.No.47 of 2011 expeditiously.
