ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to register the FIR on the basis of the complaint dated 10.01.2016.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against her sister Jennifer stating that when the petitioner went to see her mother, her sister picked up quarrel with the petitioner and assaulted her 3 months old son and she made an attempt to throw away the child from the balcony. Though the said complaint was lodged as early as 10.01.2016, no action has been taken on the said complaint so far. Hence, the present criminal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

original petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that a detailed enquiry was conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner, and thereafter, the said complaint was closed. He has also produced a copy of the closure report.

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner was closed, nothing survives in this petition. Therefore, the petition is dismissed, however, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy in the manner known to law, if she so desires.
