st respondent herein to consider This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1 the representation of the petitioner herein dated 18.06.2024 and 07.04.2025 issued by the petitioner to de-limit and divide the E.Nallgoundampalayam Village, Namakkal District from Jameen Elampalli Panchayat consequently pass suitable orders by declaring E.Nallagoundampalayam Village, Namakkal District as separate Village Panchayat within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

The petitioner is the resident of E.Nallagoundampalayam Village, Namakkal District linked with Jameen Elampalli Panchayat, which consists of five villages viz., Marapalayam Village, Jameen Elampalli Village, Athikadu Village, E.Nallagoundampalayam Village and Karattupalayam Village, totally 1000 families are residing and more than 3000 members belongs to the aforesaid panchayat. It is 2/6
stated that E.Nallgoundampalayam village contains approximately 320 families in its limit having 800 voters. The E.Nallgoundampalayam village is under Jameen Elampalli village funds were allocated by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the said Jameen Elampalli has been utilized for E.Nallgoundampalayam village. The said E.Nallgoundampalayam village having more population than the other villages which is under Jameen Elampalli Panchayat. Thus the petitioner village is not able to get water, road, electricity facilities. Hence, the petitioner herein has made representation before the respondents on 18.06.2024 and 07.04.2025 to delimit petitioner village from the Jameen Elampalli Panchayat and to upgrade the E.Nallgoundampalayam village as separate panchayat. But the same was not considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. He would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2024 and 07.04.2025 will be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 3/6
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
5. This Court directs the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 18.06.2024 and 07.04.2025, by conducting detailed enquiry, after giving due notice to the petitioner, opportunity of personal hearing, to consider the documents filed by the petitioner on merits, and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above observations and directions. No costs.
