ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner without any proper registration of the case and also to proceed only in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by one Kumar, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
