No.259 of 2019 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN J, This application has been filed seeking to grant leave to the applicants to produce the additional documents which were not filed along with the written statement and now permission is sought to take them on record.

2.The nature of the documents are certificates of incorporation, certificates and licenses obtained by the defendants, certificates awarded to the defendants by various foreign entities and Governmental Authorities, awards and accolades won by the defendants, certificate by the Chartered Accountant to establish the annual sales turnover and promotional expenditure of 1st defendant, product portfolio of the defendants, new articles about the defendants and promotional materials of the defendants.

A.No.2232 of 2020 in C.S.No.259 of 2019 smv 4.In the suit, the application filed seeking interim orders are yet to be disposed of. However, the defendants have filed their written statement and they were not able to file the present documents along with the written statement. But it is stated in the affidavit that these documents are of vital significance and directly relate to the issues in the case.

5.In view of the fact that it would only be appropriate, when the parties are afforded an opportunity for trial to put forth their respective cases, the application is allowed and the documents filed along with the said application are taken on file as documents filed along with the written statement by the defendants.
