ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings dated 02.08.2024, whereby, free house-site patta was canceled without putting the petitioner on notice.

2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that more than two hundred pattas were cancelled and this Court, in similar circumstances, set aside order of cancellation and directed the second respondent to consider and pass orders afresh. One such order being W.P.No.28931 of 2024 dated 19.10.2024.

3. In view thereof, the impugned order stands set aside and the matter stands remitted back to the file of the first respondent District Collector to reconsider the issue and pass orders afresh after affording the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. Page No.2 of 4
