Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.

2. The petitioners have made a representation dated 10.08.2015 to the fourth and fifth respondents stating that the property situated in Thathiyancarpatti Village, for a total extent of 27.06 cents in Omalur Village, Salem District, belonging to them ancestrally and therefore in the event of anybody making an application for change of patta, the same shall not be done. Apprehending that despite the representation made by the petitioners, the patta would be changed, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners herein.

3. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation of the petitioners dated 10.08.2015 and without going into the merits of the case, the fourth respondent is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders on the said representation of the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a coy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, private respondent and other third parties, if so advised and communicate the decision taken to the petitioners and others concerned.
