in W.P.No.9708 of 2014, dated 12.09.2014, W.P.No.25274 of 2014, dated 17.09.2014, W.A.No.1703 of 2014, dated 20.01.2015, SLP (Civil) No.12056 of 2015, dated 05.07.2016 and Ref.No.LL2/31604/2014, dated 10.02.2020 and also G.O.(Ms).No.49, Environment and Forests (FR2-11), Department dated 01.09.2020 with all consequential benefits within time frame. O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents to appoint them in the cadre post of Forest Watcher by giving the benefit of relaxation of height rule with effect from the date of their juniors' appointment in the post of Forest Watcher on 24.01.1995 and 08.03.1999 by considering their representation dated 05.11.2020, in the light of the order passed in W.P.No.9708 of 2014, dated 12.09.2014, W.P.No.25274 of 2014, dated 17.09.2014, W.A.No.1703 of 2014, dated 20.01.2015, SLP (Civil) No.12056 of 2015, dated 05.07.2016 and Ref.No.LL2/31604/2014, dated 10.02.2020 and also G.O.(Ms).No.49, Environment and Forests (FR211), Department, dated 01.09.2020 with all consequential benefits.

2. This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. This Court considering the limited prayer sought for in this Writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2020 in the light of the earlier orders passed by this Court cited surpa, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioners herein.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneously petition is closed. No costs.
