This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pay the payment of eight (8) month arrears of salary and selection increment arrears along with EPF employer share amounts and to upload his EPF details through EPF portal for the period from 01.02.2022 to 28.02.2023 and considering the petitioner representation dated 03.12.2025. ORDER
This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 1st respondent to pay the payment of eight (8) month arrears of salary and selection increment arrears along with EPF employer share amounts and to upload his EPF details through EPF portal for the period from 01.02.2022 to 28.02.2023 and considering the petitioner representation dated 03.12.2025."
2. The petitioner was appointed in the 2nd respondent corporation on 01.08.1989. His services were regularised on 01.08.1990. Thereafter, on 31.08.2010, the petitioner was permanently transferred to the 1st respondent institute. The case of the petitioner is that he had taken a medical leave for the period from 19.08.2021 to 13.07.2022. On 28.02.2025, the petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that 8 months salary and selection increment arrear along with EPF employer share amounts has not been paid to him. Therefore, he made a representation on 03.12.2025 to the respondents. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petition.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2025 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
