(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.) The matter is heard through "Video Conferencing". 2.This petition has been filed seeking two weeks extension of leave from 25.09.2020 to 09.10.2020 to the detenu Babu @ Umai Babu, Son of Yusuf, Lifer C.No. 17147, now confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore in Crl.M.P. No. 5163 of 2020 in H.C.P. NO. 1344 of 2020. Taking into consideration that the convict has spent most of life in jail and the fact that his son got married on 21.09.2020, to enable him to spend some time with the newly married couple and other family members, this Court is inclined to extend the leave granted to the convict by a further period of 10 days from 25.09.2020. The convict namely, Babu @ Umai 2\4
Babu, Son of Yusuf, Lifer C.No. 17147, now confined in Central Prison, Coimbatore shall surrender before the prison authorities at 5.00 P.M. on 04.10.2020. The convict shall comply with the conditions imposed by this Court earlier by order dated 09.09.2020. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
