The above Petition is filed invoking the Provisions of Section 11 (6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act for appointing an Arbitrator to decide the disputes that have arisen between the petitioners and the respondent.

2. When the matter had come up on 16.10.2020, both the counsels had agreed to refer the matter to a Sole Arbitrator though the Arbitration agreement between them provides for appointment of three Arbitrators. The petitioners had suggested the name of Mr.A.K. Sriram, Advocate to act as Arbitrator as the dispute arises out of a Put Option Agreement dated 10.10.2011 and regarding the purchase of certain equity shares. The learned counsel for the respondent has sought for time to get instructions in this regard. The matter was directed to be listed today.

3. When the matter was listed today, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that their client has no objection to have 2/4

5. Accordingly, Mr.A.K.Sriram, Advocate, residing at No.81, CP.Ramasamy Road, Alwarpet, Chennai- 18, is appointed as Arbitrator to arbitrate the dispute between the parties.
