Prayer: This Petition is filed under Section 3,7 to 10 and 25 of Guardian & Wards Act VIII of 1890 read with Rule 2 and 3 of O.S.Rules, praying for the following reliefs:

(a) that the petitioner herein may be appointed as the Guardian of the person of the minor child J.Kaarunya Lakshmi born on 20.05.2015; (b) to grant permanent custody of the minor child J.Kaarunya Lakshmi born on 20.05.2015 to the petitioner.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd petitioner and the respondent submitted that this matter has been settled between the parties amicably before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, by virtue of a Joint Compromise Memo, dated 28.06.2022 entered by both parties duly signed by them along with their respective counsel. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for both parties would pray this Court to dispose of the Original Petition in terms of the Joint Compromise Memo.

2. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since the matter has been settled amicably between the parties, this Original Petition stands disposed of in terms of Joint Compromise Memo, dated 28.06.2022.
