The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents police 1 to 3 not to harass the petitioner family under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instruction, would submit that no petition/enquiry is pending against the petitioner on the file of the respondents police. The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

4. In view of the above, since no complaint is pending against the petitioner, there is no necessity to the respondents police to call the petitioner for the purpose of enquiry.
