Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent's impugned rejection order, bearing file No.2025/0103/09/446948 rejecting the petitioner's request for transfer of patta and quash the same and consequently, direct the 1st respondent to grant patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the subject property as mentioned in the unregistered will admeasuring to an extent of 0.32 acres comprised in S.No.13/48 in the said village bearing Patta No.81 and another extent of 0.17 1/4 ares comprised in S.No.13/4C bearing Patta No.81, Naraikinaru village, Thamambatti Taluk, Rasipuram Circle, Namakkal District situated within the 1/4
jurisdiction of first respondent.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the refusal order passed by the respondent dated 25.02.2025 and for a consequential direction to the respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.Anirudh A.Sriram, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent.
3. The respondent has issued the online rejection order without assigning any reason. If the respondent wanted to get any clarification from the petitioner, the petitioner should have been called for enquiry and thereafter, a reasoned order has to be passed. The impugned refusal rejection order passed by the respondent dated 25.02.2025 is hereby quashed. There shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the 2/4
application submitted by the petitioner after affording opportunity to the petitioner and pass orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
