ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 10.4.2017 challenging the order dated 16.03.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent in respect of the registration of Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds dated 16.03.2017 submitted by the LIC Housing Finance Limited in respect of the property bearing Door Nos.40/1, 40/2 , 40/3 and 40/4, 12th Avenue, Ashok Nagar, Chennai- 600 083.

2. Mr.L.Damodaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's appeal before the 1st respondent on 10.04.2017, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 1st respondent.

3.Mr.Era.Premnath, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, within a time frame.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 10.04.2017 filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
