Respondent(s) PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd Respondent, District Educational Officer in his letter bearing Na.Ka.No.68/A2/ 2025 dated 20.03.2025 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to take appropriate action on petitioner's representation as per the directions of this Hon'ble Court's order dated 22.01.2025 made in W.P.No.1665 of 2025 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 20.03.2025.

2. Heard Mr.Sam Jayaraj Houston, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Prabhakaran, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.M.Arun, learned counsel for the 3rd respondent.

3. It is the submission of the petitioner that she is the founder of the 3rd respondent School and that the 3rd respondent school is functioning in the petitioner's husband's property and there were certain issue in respect of the land leased out to the 3rd respondent. Apart from that, it is the specific submission of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent did not have any licence to conduct the school.

4. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate would submit that based upon the representation of the petitioner, they already issued a show cause notice to the respondent and that they would take the show cause notice to it's logical conclusion within a reasonable time.

5. In view of the above submission, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 1

and 2 to take to the logical conclusion of the show cause notice, which has been referred to in the impugned order dated 20.03.2025 after affording opportunity to the 3rd respondent within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to communicate the order to the petitioner.

6. In the result, this writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected WMP is also closed.
