ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed seeking to set aside the order dated 10.09.2020 in Crl.M.P.No.14147 of 2019 in C.C.No.1026 of 2014 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, as illegal, incompetent and without jurisdiction.

2. The respondent police registered the case in Crime No.596 of 2013 against the petitioner and other accused for the offences under Sections 341, 324 IPC read with Section 34 of IPC. After completing the investigation, laid charge sheet and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1026 of 2014 on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, and during the pendency of the case, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.14147 of 2019 seeking to permit the petitioner to renew his passport bearing file No.MA2072453326319 which was going to expire on 15.12.2019. The same was dismissed by order dated 10.09.2020. Against which, the petitioner is before this Court by way of revision.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent police would submit that already the main Calender Case itself has been disposed of on merits and the case was ended in acquittal. Therefore, nothing for survives for adjudication.

4. In view of the fact that the main Calender Case itself has already been disposed of on merits, there is nothing survives for adjudication. Therefore, this Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as infructuous. 09.01.2023 ksa-2 To
