The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Section 302 IPC in Crime No.238 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner who is the mother of the deceased Ayammmal, in an inebriated condition developed quarrel with her and pushed her. Due to which, it is alleged that, Ayammmal died. He further submitted that enquiry is in initial stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

gd 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the investigation in this case is not completed and it is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
