The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of his Revision Petition dated 15.06.2015, filed against the order of the 5th respondent dated 06.12.1987, within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that challenging the order passed by the 5th respondent dated 06.02.1987, the petitioner has filed a revision petition before the 2nd respondent as early as on 15.06.2015 itself. However, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 2nd respondent.

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate, taking notice to the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the revision petition dated 15.06.2015, filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 15.06.2015, filed by the petitioner, challenging the order passed by the 5th respondent dated 06.12.1987, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
